Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist | Anesthesiology - General/Other Location: Kirksville, MO Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Specialty: CRNA - General Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Kirksville, MO Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing Shift Schedule: 6:30a – 3:00p Call Type: 2nd Call/Backup Call Response Time: 30 min Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Agency PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: TBD Case Mix: Complete Ortho, Head Spine, Neuro, Pediatric, Regional, Thoracic FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Paper Charting Other Info ACT Model: Medical direction CRNAs do not do peripheral block and rare epidural Physicians is first call for OR & OB cases PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Temporary Privileges Available: Yes REQUIRED PROCEDURES Required: General, Spinal, Epidural Anesthesia Regional Anesthesia Surgery OB, Neurosurgical Cases Thoracic cases (except open heart) Complex orthopedic cases Pain management techniques Post-op epidural & extremity blocks Epidural steroid for Lumbar & Cervical Transforaminal Use of x-ray guidance in performance of blocks Ventilation management Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues C-Line, A-Line, PA Catheter placement JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC/BE Licenses: Licensed in MO Certifications: ACLS, BNDD DEA, CSR Duties & Responsibilities Provide anesthesia services under medical direction. Serve as backup call for the physician for OR and OB cases. Manage ventilation and acute volume/BP issues. Perform central line, arterial line, and PA catheter placements. Collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety during surgical procedures.
