Nurse Practitioner | Cardiology - General/Other Location: Jonesboro, GA Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Join Our Dedicated Cardiology Team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant! Required Skills: Valid Georgia DEA license is mandatory Proven cardiology experience is required Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EPIC experience preferred) Nice to Have Skills: Experience completing protocol agreements with medical boards Knowledge of the latest cardiology treatment protocols and guidelines Bilingual communication skills are a plus Preferred Education and Experience: Master’s degree in Nursing (NP) or Physician Assistant certification from an accredited program At least 2 years of clinical experience in cardiology or a related specialty Prior experience working with EPIC EMR system Other Requirements: Must be available for clinic coverage Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm Completion of EPIC training (scheduled every other week from 8 am to 4:30 pm) after credentialing and prior to start date Ability to complete protocol agreements with the Georgia Medical Board of Medicine (GCMB) Willingness to maintain licensure, certifications, and fulfill travel and reimbursement requirements when applicable We’re committed to supporting your success with competitive pay packages, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, a generous referral bonus program, and a dedicated team available around the clock.
