Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations related to cardiology conditions. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiac illnesses, developing personalized treatment plans. Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care. Educate patients and families on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence. Document all patient interactions accurately and maintain detailed medical records. Skills Needed Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in North Carolina. Certification in Cardiology preferred. Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
