Nurse Practitioner | Oncology - General/Other Location: Pagosa Springs, CO Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 4 days x 10 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) – Oncology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Pagosa Springs, CO Service Setting: Outpatient Oncology Clinic Coverage Type: Clinical Only Start Date: 04/27/2026 Assignment Length: 13 Weeks Shift Schedule: Days – 10-hour shifts (Monday–Thursday + one Friday per month) EMR System: Cerner PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults (Oncology population) Case Mix: Oncology and infusion therapy patients Services Provided: Evaluation, treatment, follow-up, referrals, and diagnostic management FACILITY INFORMATION Setting: Outpatient oncology clinic Support Services: Infusion services and multidisciplinary care coordination Quality Programs: Participation in patient satisfaction and quality improvement initiatives PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Licensure Requirements: Active Colorado license (or compact eligibility) DEA: Required REQUIRED PROCEDURES / FUNCTIONS Oncology patient evaluation and management Infusion therapy oversight Ordering and interpretation of labs and imaging Care coordination and referrals Follow-up and treatment planning JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum 2 years oncology subspecialty experience Nurse Practitioner (NP) Certification: American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) AOCNP certification required Active DEA and Colorado license Physician Assistant (PA) Certified by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Must hold PA-C credential Oncology experience required; oncology certification preferred Active DEA and Colorado license DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Manage oncology and infusion patients across the care continuum Perform patient examinations, treatment, and follow-up care Order and interpret labs and imaging studies Coordinate referrals and multidisciplinary care Participate in patient satisfaction and quality improvement initiatives Support organizational and departmental goals to ensure safe, high-quality care
