Nurse Practitioner | Surgery - General/Other Location: Santa Rosa, CA Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Join Our Dynamic Surgical Team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – General Surgery! Are you a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a passion for surgical care? We are seeking motivated and experienced professionals to provide urgent coverage in Santa Rosa from June 1st through August 31st. Required Skills Valid California license and CA DEA registration Current BLS and ACLS certifications Board Certified in relevant specialty or Board Eligible with 3-5 years of residency experience Minimum of 2 weeks on/2 weeks off availability At least 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in general surgery or related field Excellent communication and teamwork skills Experience working independently in a high-pressure surgical environment Nice to Have Skills: Experience with surgical case logs documentation Familiarity with hospital privileging processes Additional certifications related to surgical care or anesthesia Bilingual abilities to enhance patient communication Preferred Education and Experience: Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with Advanced Practice certification (for Nurse Practitioners) Physician Assistant degree from an accredited program Prior experience in general surgery or acute care settings Other Requirements: Active California medical license and CA DEA registration Reliable availability for 10-hour shifts (8 am-6 pm) Travel arrangements compliant with specified reimbursement policies Updated CV with hospital affiliations for privileging process Commitment to comply with all hospital and credentialing requirements and documentation timelines Seize this opportunity to advance your career while providing exceptional surgical care!
