We are seeking a dedicated Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializing in Surgery with a focus on Orthopedics to join our team in Rockford, Illinois. Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations for orthopedic and surgical patients. Order, interpret, and utilize diagnostic tests and imaging results to inform clinical decision-making. Provide patient education on disease management, post-op care, and injury prevention. Ensure documentation complies with healthcare regulations and maintains accuracy and confidentiality. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge in orthopedic surgery.
