The OB/GYN team provides comprehensive, compassionate care for women at all life stages , including: Annual Exams and Preventive Care Maternity Services (Preconception to Postpartum) Pelvic Health Breast Health Virtual Care Options via SSM Health Express Birthing & Labor Experience at the Family Birth Center (SSM Health St. Marys Hospital Janesville) Labor and delivery take place in a family-centered, spa-like environment , thoughtfully designed to support your personal birth vision: Birthing Suites: Private, spacious rooms with partner accommodations (pull-out bed), in-room baby bathing area, massaging showers, birthing balls, and comfortable positioning options Childbirth Options: Wireless fetal monitoring to allow movement during labor, doula support, and the option of low-intervention laboring (such as walking or using a labor tub) Healthier Practices: Delayed umbilical cord clamping and immediate skin-to-skin contact post-delivery, including after C-sections, for improved newborn transition and breastfeeding success Breastfeeding Support: In-room breastfeeding encouragement and access to lactation specialists; Free childbirth classes and support groups are offered Accolades: Recognized as a designated Baby-Friendly Hospital by Baby-Friendly USAan accolade awarded to only a few facilities nationwide Awards: Winner of the Womens Choice Award® for Obstetrics in both 2015 and 2016, which evaluates patient satisfaction and clinical excellence
