We're seeking a locums orthopedic trauma surgeon to provide expert surgical care and on-call trauma support for a high-acuity, high-volume service. 🏥 Hospital Highlights: Level I Adult Trauma Center serving Missouri and Illinois Daily trauma census of 3545 patients 23 dedicated orthopedic trauma ORs daily Strong support team including residents, NPs, and clinical trauma nurses Access to fellowship-trained orthopedic traumatologists EMR: Epic 🔧 Clinical Scope Includes: High-energy fractures, polytrauma, and periarticular injuries Ilizarov techniques, pelvic/acetabular reconstruction Advanced hindfoot, ankle, and limb deformity correction No elective clinic unless requested 📅 Job Details: Shifts : 24-hour call; frequency flexible Support : In-house backup from trauma fellows and residents Credentialing : Streamlined for locums; malpractice provided Housing and travel : Covered If you know anyone in mind, we do offer a referral bonus as our way of saying THANK YOU!
