We are seeking a dedicated Locum Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Emergency Medicine to join our team in Chesapeake, Virginia. In this role, you will provide high-quality urgent and emergent care in a fast-paced environment, assisting with patient evaluations, diagnostics, and treatment plans. Key responsibilities include performing history and physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, assisting with procedures, and collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure efficient patient flow. The PA will also document clinical findings accurately and provide patient education. Ideal candidates should possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Must hold an active Virginia PA license and have certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
