Physician Assistant | Critical Care Location: California Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Seeking an experienced PA or NP with a background in neurosurgery, neuro-trauma, and/or neuro-critical care to provide inpatient management for emergency surgery patients (brain, neck, spine) in a busy Level II Trauma Center. Providers will manage 15–20 ICU patients per day as part of a multidisciplinary team. This role does not involve assisting in surgery. Facility: Level II Trauma Center Setting: Neuro-Trauma / Neuro-Critical Care (no OR assist) Schedule: 10-hour Day Shift, 7am–5pm (No Call) Assignment Dates: Jan: 6–29 Feb: 3–25 Mar: 3–4, 9–18, 23–29 Apr: 7–12, 20–26 May: 4–13, 18–27 Jun: 1–7, 15–21, 29 → ongoing Duties & Required Skills: Low/Moderate-risk procedures: Laceration repair Peripheral IV access/insertion Fracture/dislocation reductions (minimal/moderate displacement) High-risk procedures: G-tube placement Endotracheal intubation Cardioversion/defibrillation LMA airway management Paracentesis: Chest tube placement Central & arterial lines Other Details: EMR: Cerner Care B Requirements Requirements Active CA License Board Certification ACLS, ATLS, and DEA
