This role features low-volume ED work, light Med/Surg responsibilities, and a highly supportive clinical team. Available PRN Shifts (Dec 2025–May 2026) Choose from a variety of overnight and weekend block shifts—build the schedule that works for you! December 2025: 12/24–26, 12/26–28, 12/31–1/1 January 2026: 1/1–2, 1/6–7, 1/9–11, 1/13–14, 1/14–15, 1/16–18, 1/20–21, 1/21–22, 1/23–25, 1/27–28 February 2026: 2/3–4, 2/4–5, 2/10–11, 2/11–12, 2/13–15, 2/27–3/1 March 2026: 3/4–5, 3/6–8 April 2026: 4/3–5, 4/10–12 May 2026: 5/22–24 Requirements Requirements Board Certified Physician Assistant Active Iowa License DEA + CSR Emergency Medicine or Acute Care experience Comfortable functioning as sole provider Benefits Benefits Fully reimbursed travel (flights, lodging, rental car, mileage) Malpractice coverage included Low patient volume (avg. 3.6 ED patients/day) Support from 2 RNs + 1 Paramedic EPIC EMR Temporary privileges available
