The provider will evaluate and manage patients with a variety of gastrointestinal and internal medicine conditions, provide patient education, coordinate specialty consults, and document care in accordance with regulatory and quality standards. Average patient ratios range from 1:14 to 1:18. Epic EMR is utilized for charting, and all orientation hours are payable. Shift Details: Day shift coverage, Monday–Friday Clinical evaluation, follow-up care, documentation, and coordination with GI and internal medicine teams No call responsibilities No floating requirements Coverage Dates / Schedule: Full-time weekday coverage Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Consistent schedule with no weekends Requirements Licensed Physician Assistant (PA) Active New York license required Minimum of 3 years of recent gastroenterology or relevant internal medicine experience BLS certification required Epic EMR experience required Strong written and verbal communication skills Up-to-date work history with no gaps over 30 days Physician statement required for any malpractice history Benefits Predictable weekday daytime schedule No call or weekend shifts Supportive clinical environment with anesthesia and nursing support Payable orientation hours Epic EMR system Credentialing support available
