Required Skills: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience; inpatient oncology experience strongly preferred NYS licensed/registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (specialty area of certification must align with practice) Certification and eligibility for Medicare NPI number CPR and ACLS certification Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong documentation skills, including accurate, timely, and concise record keeping Skilled in patient education and utilizing prescriptive authority collaboratively with attending physicians Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience working in acute care settings Familiarity with electronic medical records systems Bilingual abilities or additional language skills to enhance patient interactions Preferred Education and Experience: Active NYS license/registration as an NP or PA NCCPA certification or eligibility At least one year of relevant clinical experience, especially in oncology or inpatient care Other Requirements: Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance Will work primarily during day shifts (Shift Length: 8 hours) Be prepared for potential travel or licensure/certification reimbursements where applicable This exciting opportunity offers a competitive pay rate of $95.00 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical coverage, paid sick leave, licensure and certification reimbursements, and a robust referral program.
