Physician Assistant | Surgery - Cardiothoracic Location: Lexington, KY Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Quick Facts: Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery NP/PA Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Lexington, KY Service Setting: Inpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: May 31, 2026 - Ongoing Coverage Type: Call Only Shifts needed to be filled: May 31 - Jun 13 Jun 6-8 Jul 20 - 26 Call Schedule: Fri-Mon; 7a-7a 1-2 days/week 1 weekend/month Patient Volume: Low No of Surgeries: 1-2 per day Duties/Procedures: Surgical CT, Vein harvest, Chest tube placement First assist in CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy/lung resection cases OR, Tele, & ICU duties EMR: Epic Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: Active KY License BC DEA BLS, ACLS NPDB report Will accept NPs that can do surgery component and vein harvest
