We are seeking a dedicated Locum Physician Assistant (PA) - Surgery - Orthopedic to join our team in Sandy Springs, GA, with assignments based in Columbus, Ohio. The PA will provide high-quality orthopedic surgical care under the supervision of the orthopedic surgeon, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Include Assisting in orthopedic surgeries, including pre-operative and post-operative care Performing patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with surgeons Managing patient follow-ups and recovery processes Providing patient education on orthopedic conditions, treatments, and recovery protocols Documenting medical records accurately and efficiently Required Skills And Qualifications Strong knowledge of orthopedic surgical procedures and patient management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant in Ohio Adaptability to fast-paced clinical environments Benefits Include Competitive hourly rate of $90 to $110 per hour Flexible scheduling options Travel and lodging stipends Professional liability insurance coverage Opportunity to work in a dynamic orthopedic surgical setting
