Doctor of Medicine | Anesthesiology - General/Other Location: Coconut Creek, FL Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a full‑time Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment providing weekday daytime anesthesia services with required weekday and weekend call coverage. The physician will work in a high‑volume surgical environment with a blended model of hands‑on cases and supervision of residents and APPs. Approximately 60% of time will involve supervision in the OR and OB areas, while 40% will consist of the physician managing their own cases in GI, EP, IR, and TEE settings. The case mix includes general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, neuro, spine, and thoracic procedures. EMR used is Medaxion. Shift Details: Day shifts Monday–Friday with 7:00 AM start times Schedule may follow a peel‑out model; end times vary based on surgical flow Average weekly hours range from 40–45 Required procedures include OB anesthesia and basic regional blocks (TAP, supraclavicular, adductor canal, popliteal) Physician may work standard 8‑ or 10‑hour shifts depending on schedule needs Coverage Dates / Schedule: Coverage beginning March 23, 2026 Full‑time availability required every week of the month Minimum 20 shifts per month Length of assignment estimated at 3–6 months Weeknight call rotation: 1:8 beeper call Weekend call rotation: 1:8, including in‑house daytime coverage and weekend beeper call Requirements MD specializing in Anesthesiology Board Certified in Anesthesiology (required) Active Florida medical license required at submission Active Florida DEA required ACLS and BLS certifications required Minimum of 24 months of case logs required within 5 days of credentialing approval Clean background with no clinical, legal, or pending issues Full‑time availability required No more than 10 prior affiliations Out‑of‑state candidates only Must provide copy of out‑of‑state driver’s license at presentation Willingness to participate in clinical interview with site leadership Average credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days; temporary privileges may be available with a clean file Benefits Full‑time weekday daytime schedule Diverse and advanced surgical case mix Balanced supervision and hands‑on clinical work Established anesthesia care team with resident and APP support Temporary/expedited privileges may be available Credentialing support provided
