Opportunity Snapshot Location: Gainesville, FL Facility Type: Multi-Specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center Contract Type: Locum Tenens Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Schedule: Monday–Friday only Call: None Clinical Practice Overview High-volume, well-run ASC Approximately 20–22 cases per day 5 operating rooms Efficient case turnover and experienced OR teams Paper charting (no EMR burden) Case Mix Multi-specialty ambulatory anesthesia including: • Orthopedics • Plastic Surgery • Ophthalmology • General Surgery • ENT • Gynecology • Pain Management • Podiatry • Urology No trauma, no OB, no inpatient responsibilities. Staffing Model 1 Anesthesiologist (MDA) onsite daily CRNAs per day CRNAs practice independently MDA supervises, provides blocks as needed, and collaborates closely with CRNAs Strong communication and team-oriented practice model Schedule Details Cases typically start at 7:30 AM Daily end times vary based on case volume Typical workday: 8–10 hours No nights No weekends No call This role is ideal for anesthesiologists seeking ASC consistency without hospital demands .
