Average call is once a week. We provide call from home 3-5 pm -7a during the week and 24 hours on the weekend. Call back response time is 30-45 minutes. Our weekly schedule varies between 4 x10 shifts and 5x8 shifts to match our block schedules. Almost all days post call are off. Post call folks are always first out. The need is to fill in a slot in our schedule matrix that all providers are a part of. It rotates and we all do the same thing.
