Locums Cardiology in Tucson, Arizona - Fast Credentialing, Block Schedule An inpatient-focused cardiology role combining rounding and consults with structured call responsibilities. This assignment stands out for its mix of procedural exposure and defined coverage blocks. Highlights Fast credentialing with temporary privileges available Mix of inpatient rounding and consultative care Procedural opportunities across invasive and non-invasive cardiology Defined call structure with patient-specific coverage Practice & Cases Inpatient cardiology with some outpatient clinic involvement Adult patient population with admissions and rounding responsibilities Exposure to echocardiography, catheterization, and electrophysiology STEMI, angioplasty, and device management preferred Schedule Weekday shifts with daytime clinic and rounding responsibilities Call coverage tied to assigned patients 7-day call blocks during designated weeks Short-term summer coverage with remaining blocks still open Requirements Must be an MD or DO Board-certified in Cardiology and Internal Medicine Active Arizona license or IMLC eligibility ACLS certification required Logistics Travel and lodging provided Rental car and mileage covered Malpractice insurance included We can align remaining call blocks with your availability, let's connect to see what fits your schedule!
