What You’ll Need to Succeed: Board Certification in Cardiology Valid State Medical License (IMLC or WV temporary license accepted) DEA certification Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and TEE Proven expertise in nuclear medicine stress tests, exercise stress tests, EKGs, echoes, and TEE procedures Ability to perform and interpret diagnostic tests accurately Strong communication and teamwork skills Flexibility to adapt to varied clinical schedules Additional Skills That Are a Plus: Experience with Cerner EMR system Prior experience in hospital-based cardiology departments Ability to handle a high-volume patient load efficiently Willingness to obtain licensure if necessary Preferred Education & Experience: Medical degree with subspecialty training in Cardiology Minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting Previous experience managing patients aged 50 and above Other Important Requirements: Willingness to work scheduled clinic hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Participate in 24/7 call coverage, including after-hours consultation and test supervision (4-6 tests in the morning, 12-15 patients in the afternoon) Credentialing timeframe of 30-45 days Ability to support extended full-time coverage or work 2-3 weeks per month if needed Travel, licensure, certification renewals, and other reimbursements as applicable Holiday shifts at 1.2x the standard pay rate This exciting opportunity begins on June 1st, 2026, with a contractual duration of 6 months.
