Main St., Dothan, AL 36305 Requirements This position is requesting coverage for an Internal Medicine physician to provide consultative services to patients that have been admitted into one of the many ICUs at Flowers Hospital. Flowers Hospital has 32 critical care beds (SICU, MICU, CVCU, CCU). The hospitalists will admit and serve as the attending physician for the ICU beds, and will consult the intensivist for bedside procedures, ventilator management, and other pulmonary and critical care related services. A nurse practitioner will assist in seeing patients during the weekday. Schedule Hours for Clinic /Hospital Hospital Inpatient 0800 - 1700 + call Schedule Days Clinic /Hospital Mon - Fri Call Night /Weekend - Yes What are the days for Call Sunday - Saturday What Time does the Call start 24 hour call on Fri, Sat and Sun. 5PM on weekdays Average phone consults per call shift - 2-3 Average admissions per call shift - 5-7 Average patients seen per call shift - 20-25 Mid-level staff are available to assist with inpatient rounding.
