Required Skills: Active medical license (License or IMLC recognized) Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM) Dual Boarded in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology (minimum BE in Transplant Hep) Experience consulting on post-kidney transplant patients and managing kidney-specific needs Proficiency in liver disease management and nephrology input Strong communication skills for offsite on-call support and inpatient consultations Nice to Have Skills: Additional certifications in nephrology or related specialties Prior experience with transplant programs or complex hepatology cases Familiarity with dialysis management and dialysis order writing Preferred Education and Experience: Medical Degree from an accredited institution Proven experience in transplant hepatology or adult hepatology programs Successful completion of Gastroenterology certification prior to transplant hepatology exam eligibility Other Requirements: Willingness to participate in offsite 24-hour beeper call, including orientation and call-back duties Ability to work one week per month starting ASAP, with ongoing availability Commitment to providing high-quality patient care during off-hours and emergency situations We offer a competitive hourly pay rate of $1.00 (please note this is for bidding purposes; actual rates will be discussed during the interview process) and comprehensive benefits including weekly direct deposit pay, medical coverage, paid sick time, reimbursed licensure, certification, travel, and other expenses.
