McLaren Bay Region is seeking a skilled Physician to provide essential GI services in Bay City, Michigan, through 2026. What You'll Bring Valid medical license and board certification in Gastroenterology Experience performing ERCP procedures Ability to provide reliable, high-quality call coverage during scheduled shifts Strong communication and collaboration skills with hospital staff and colleagues Self-motivated with excellent clinical judgment and organizational skills Nice to Have: Prior experience in a rural or community hospital setting Familiarity with hospitalist support systems and colorectal surgical teams Proficiency in outpatient GI clinic management Preferred Education & Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Active state medical license in Michigan or eligible for licensure Minimum of 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in gastroenterology Other Requirements: ERCP certification is mandatory Willingness to work on-call shifts Monday through Thursday; no weekend call required Ability to travel within the community as needed Compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations, including licensure and certifications This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a supportive environment with flexible scheduling, competitive compensation, and a dedicated team committed to your professional success.
