Inpatient in the afternoon Work Details: · Support Staff: Anes on site · Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: 2 weeks per month · Hours per day: 8 hours M-F rounds on weekend and procedures as needed · Patient Population/Age: 18 · EMR: EPIC · Hospital Bed size: 132 beds · Special Procedures: no EUS or ERCP Practice Setting: • Hospital Requirements: · Board Certification: BC or BE in Gastroenterology · License Required: PA license · DEA: required · Minimum Experience Required: 1 year Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days temps avail with clean file Gratis: 2hrs How many procedures per day are they doing how many do they expect? There are usually about 4 to 5 scheduled procedures that will be done and then any add ons in the afternoon. If not on call and just doing procedures for the day then you will have about 8 to 9 cases scheduled How many patients per day? When in the office the expectation would be to have office patients for half the day seeing 1 every 40 minutes and then going to round in the hospital on any consults in the afternoon and complete any procedures that need done from consults. Do they go to the clinic after the procedure days? They do not do clinic after procedure days Daily Census of new patients consults rounding? I am not sure about this answer ER Call? They will receive consults from the ER and be expected to round on those patients in the ER Support staff? There is a PA that is on call with the surgeon during the day to help round on patients from the hours of 7a-330p IT is always available to help and we have the provider service line available 24/7 for support as well.
