Doctor of Medicine | Gastroenterology Location: Longmont, CO Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Position Description We are seeking a Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist to provide 24-hour inpatient call coverage for a single May coverage block , with ongoing opportunities beginning July 2026 once schedules are released. This is a hospital-only role (no clinic) in a Trauma Level III setting. 24-hour call coverage (7a–7a) with 30-minute response time Inpatient GI coverage only Required duties include endoscopy, GI bleed management, and evaluation of GI conditions Average callback hours: 4.8 Setting: Inpatient / Call, Trauma Level III EMR: Epic Support Staff: RN and on-call endoscopy team (available overnight) Patient population: Adult & Adolescent Hospital size: 60 beds Reason for coverage: Limited GI coverage Dealbreaker: Must be able to work 3 consecutive 24-hour shifts at listed times Coverage Dates: May 23–25 Ongoing coverage starting July 2026 Requirements Requirements Board Certified in Gastroenterology – Required Gastroenterology Fellowship – Required Active Colorado License or Active IMLC with LOQ in hand – Required Ability to work 3 consecutive 24-hour shifts (7a–7a) – Required Must disclose number of shifts available per month (ongoing) – Required Must provide all available dates Jan–June 2026 at time of name clear – Required Active DEA – Highly Preferred (required for credentialing; transferred DEA acceptable if maintained throughout assignment) Clean malpractice and background – Highly Preferred Local / drive-in candidates only – Highly Preferred Must acknowledge and comply with Epic EMR training requirements in the order specified Credentialing: Temps: ~30 days | Full privileges: ~120 days NPDB self-inquiry required Epic EMR access requires completion of modules and virtual training prior to start Benefits Benefits Competitive 24-hour call, callback, and holiday compensation structure Epic EMR with structured training support Dedicated inpatient and endoscopy support teams Preferred lodging arrangement with negotiated hotel rates Ongoing opportunity beginning July 2026 Stable hospital environment with predictable call expectations
