Doctor of Medicine | Gastroenterology Location: Michigan Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Gastroenterologist to provide locum coverage in a well-established, outpatient-focused digestive health practice. Join a collaborative and dynamic team delivering high-quality, comprehensive gastroenterology care with full support from an experienced clinical staff. Position Details: Practice Setting: Outpatient Digestive Health Center with hospital-based procedures Location: Jackson, Michigan Coverage Duration: ASAP – Indefinite Schedule: Days: Mondays and Fridays Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Shift Type: Fixed day shift Call: None (no nights or weekends) Clinical Responsibilities: Perform a full range of gastroenterology procedures, including: Colonoscopy EGD ERCP Advanced GI procedures Patient Load: Outpatient procedures 30-minute colonoscopies 30-minute EGDs 60-minute double procedures Hospital-based volume: Approximately 14 patients per day Practice Environment EMR System: Epic Trauma Level: Level II Group Size: 4 physicians plus locum providers Support: Dedicated and experienced clinical and support staff Travel & Reimbursement Local providers only Requirements Requirements: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology Active Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain) BLS and ACLS certification Ability to perform outpatient and hospital-based GI procedures, including advanced procedures Local provider (required)
