What You’ll Bring to the Table: Proven proficiency in upper and lower endoscopy procedures, including colonoscopies and endoscopies. Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to assess and manage a variety of gastrointestinal conditions. Current NY State medical license and board certification in Gastroenterology. At least 2 years of recent clinical experience in gastrointestinal practice. Certifications in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association. Excellent communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to work independently, accurately complete documentation, and collaborate seamlessly with medical staff. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with EPIC electronic health records system. Knowledge of advanced diagnostic imaging (X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, ultrasounds). Familiarity with administrative responsibilities and multidisciplinary team coordination. Multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse patient populations. Preferred Education & Experience: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of 2 years of recent, relevant clinical practice in gastroenterology. Current licensures, certifications, and malpractice insurance documentation ready for review. Additional Requirements: Availability for 24-hour call coverage, including weekends, with on-call rate compensation. Ability to work flexible shifts, with scheduled days and hours as specified. Commitment to adhering to our dress code and professional appearance standards. Must possess or be willing to obtain relevant state and specialty licenses. No recent gaps of 30+ days in employment history. Willingness to participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives.
