Doctor of Medicine | Gastroenterology Location: South Carolina Employer: Austin Major Group Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage in South Carolina. This assignment offers a supportive staff, a mix of procedures, inpatient consults, and clinic care. Responsibilities One 7-day stretch per month (Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM) Provide 24-hour hospital call coverage Perform scheduled procedures in the Endoscopy Lab (½ day blocks) Respond to inpatient consults Cover 2–3 half days of outpatient clinic Required Procedures: EGD, Colonoscopy, flexible Sigmoidoscopy EMR: Epic Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology Active South Carolina Medical License Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) required before onboarding Must maintain a DEA registered in South Carolina for ongoing privileges
