Doctor of Medicine | Geriatrics Location: Massachusetts Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a dedicated Medical Director to lead clinical operations and provide compassionate, community-based care to seniors with complex, chronic needs. The PACE model is designed to help older adults remain safely in their homes and communities for as long as possible while receiving comprehensive medical and supportive services. This leadership opportunity blends direct patient care, clinical oversight, and interdisciplinary collaboration in a mission-driven environment. Position Overview Reporting to the Executive Director, the Medical Director provides: Clinical leadership and medical oversight of participant care Supervision of Primary Care Providers (PCPs) and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) Oversight of Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives Development and maintenance of medical policies, protocols, and standards Direct patient care including assessments and treatment planning Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive history & physical exams for new enrollees and periodic reassessments Develop individualized care plans and provide medically necessary services across care settings Participate in intake evaluations and eligibility determinations Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in care planning and case conferences Educate participants and families on chronic disease management and long-term planning Supervise the healthcare program developed by the interdisciplinary team Order and interpret diagnostic testing and ensure accurate documentation Participate in provider on-call rotation as required Lead clinical strategy to meet operational and quality goals Ideal Candidate Profile Passion for serving frail and elderly populations Strong leadership and supervisory experience Skilled in chronic disease management and complex care coordination Comfortable working in a collaborative, mission-driven healthcare model Adaptable to changing clinical priorities ✅ Requirements Active Massachusetts Physician License – Required Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine – Required Board Certification in Geriatrics – Preferred DEA Registration & Controlled Substance Registration – Required Minimum 1 year of documented experience working with frail or elderly populations – Required Prior supervisory experience – Required Self-Query NPDB report dated within the same month as submission – Required Why Consider This Opportunity?
