Doctor of Medicine | Hematology and Oncology Location: Burien, WA Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Locum - Physician - Hematology Oncology Burien, WA Overview: Join our dedicated team at St. Anne Hospital as a Locum Hematology/Oncology Physician and make a meaningful impact on patient care in the vibrant community of Burien, WA. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered oncology and blood disorder treatment in a collaborative outpatient clinic setting attached to a welcoming hospital. Required Skills: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Active and unrestricted medical license in Washington State Proven experience in Hematology and Oncology Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills in managing oncology and hematology patients Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically EPIC and Beacon Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with support staff and patients Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience working in outpatient clinic settings Familiarity with multidisciplinary team approaches to cancer care Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations Additional certifications in oncology or hematology Preferred Education and Experience: Board certification in Hematology and Oncology (or active certification process) Minimum of 2 years of post-residency experience in a clinical setting Prior locum or temporary physician roles highly regarded Other Requirements: Availability to cover 12-15 shifts per month, primarily Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm (schedule flexible) Must adhere to all credentialing and licensing requirements, with an average credentialing process spanning approximately three months No travel requirements beyond local lodging preferences; site will consider flights for remote candidates Malpractice insurance, orientation, and hourly billing rates adhere to specified compensation details; rates include coverage and training Jump into a fulfilling role where your expertise directly enhances patient outcomes.
