We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Locum Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to support our team during a key recruitment period. This role offers flexible scheduling, competitive compensation, and the chance to work with a multidisciplinary team committed to exceptional patient care. What You Bring to the Table: Proven expertise in maternal-fetal medicine, including procedures such as amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and managing high-risk pregnancies. Strong skills in prenatal diagnosis, fetal therapy, and managing complex obstetric cases. Ability to collaborate effectively with a team of nurses, sonographers, genetic counselors, and administrative staff. Experience with electronic medical records, specifically EPIC, is a plus. Compassionate approach to patient care with excellent communication skills. Additional Skills That Are a Plus: Experience with cerclage procedures. Familiarity with managing multiple pregnancies and congenital anomalies. Comfort supervising other healthcare providers, if applicable. Knowledge of advanced prenatal testing and fetal interventions. Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution. Board certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Active medical license to practice in Virginia. Prior locum or clinical experience in high-risk obstetric environments is advantageous. Other Requirements: Certification in obstetrics and gynecology and fetal medicine. Ability to work flexible dates, specifically in May 2026, with the following scheduled blocks: 05/08-05/15, 05/16-05/22, and 05/26-05/31. Credentialing process estimated to take approximately 90 days. Reimbursements provided for travel, lodging, and transportation expenses.
