Are you a dedicated Neonatologist seeking a rewarding temporary opportunity? Henry Ford Providence Southfield is looking for committed locum physicians to provide in-house coverage for our Level 3 NICU. Play a vital role in caring for our tiniest patients at a leading hospital, making a real difference in their lives while enjoying competitive compensation and excellent support. What You'll Do: Provide high-quality inpatient care in a Level 3 NICU setting. Cover scheduled shifts on nights (7 pm to 7 am), including in-house call responsibilities. Attend C-sections and transfer neonates as needed, ensuring smooth patient care transitions. Collaborate with a dedicated team of neonatologists and hospital staff. Contribute to positive patient outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Required Skills: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology. Fellowship training in Neonatology is mandatory. Current BLS, NRP certifications. Proven ability to work independently in an NICU setting. Excellent clinical skills, bedside manner, and attention to detail. Nice to Have Skills: Experience in Level 3 NICU environments. Previous locum or temporary staffing experience. Proficiency with Cerner, Ecare, or PowerChart EMR systems. Preferred Education and Experience: Completion of Neonatology fellowship. Active medical license in Michigan or eligible to obtain one. Prior experience managing neonatal emergencies, including C-sections and high-acuity cases. Other Requirements: Current license in hand (no license prospects accepted). Willingness to work ongoing shifts from May through June 2026, including scheduled specific dates. Mileage reimbursement offered; credentialing typically takes 90-120 days.
