What You Need Skills & Qualifications: Valid medical license in Michigan with eligibility to practice as a physician Board certified or board eligible in Neurology Proven experience in clinical neurology, including EEG interpretation and lumbar punctures Proficiency with EMR systems, preferably Cerner Exceptional diagnostic and procedural skills, including brain death examinations and evoked potentials Strong communication and teamwork abilities Ability to handle a diverse patient caseload with professionalism and compassion Nice to Have Skills: Experience in inpatient and outpatient neurological care Prior locum or hospital-based neurological practice Familiarity with hospital call coverage and emergency procedures Bilingual skills or multilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations Preferred Education & Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Completion of neurology residency and fellowship if applicable Active Michigan medical license At least 2 years of clinical experience in neurology practice Other Requirements: Willingness to provide after-hours call coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays Certification in BLS and ACLS preferred Ability to read and interpret EEGs and radiologic exams Must comply with immunization requirements including Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Flu, Covid, TB, and Tdap No third-party lodging bookings; all expenses are aligned with company policies Use DocTime for clocking in/out; no paper timesheets This is an outstanding chance to advance your career while enjoying the natural beauty and welcoming community of Petoskey.
