Required Skills Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution Current and valid medical license to practice in Texas Active board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB-GYN) Proven experience in obstetric and gynecological care within a hospital setting Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team Ability to adapt to varying shift schedules and manage high-pressure situations effectively Nice to Have Skills Previous experience as a locum or in a similar physician role -knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications Familiarity with hospital protocols and interdisciplinary team collaboration Preferred Education and Experience Medical degree from an accredited program At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in obstetric hospital care Prior experience working in busy hospital environments or as a locum physician Other Requirements Must have or be able to obtain a Texas medical license Willingness to travel to Austin, TX, and work flexible hours Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and NRP are required or preferred Commitment to providing patient-centered, quality care This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your professional portfolio while enjoying the vibrant lifestyle Austin has to offer.
