As an OB Hospitalist, you'll be an integral part of a leading medical facility, providing expert care to mothers and newborns in a fast-paced hospital environment. Required Skills: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Family Medicine with OB experience Valid Texas medical license or ability to obtain one swiftly Strong clinical skills in obstetric and hospital medicine care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Nice to Have Skills: Previous experience in a hospitalist or locum role Advanced certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school At least 2 years of recent OB hospitalist experience in a hospital setting Current OB/GYN or Family Medicine Board Certification Other Requirements: Minimum of 2 shifts per week, with flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed Willingness to commute and cover shifts starting from December 31, 2025 Must maintain up-to-date state medical license and certifications Take the next step in your medical career—apply now to become a vital part of Austin's healthcare community and enjoy a competitive hourly rate of $195.
