Required Skills: Active and unrestricted medical license in Texas Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Family Medicine with OB Delivery privileges Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care and hospitalist services Strong clinical skills and ability to manage obstetric emergencies Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Commitment to patient safety and quality care Nice to Have Skills: Additional certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Previous experience as a locum or temporary physician Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems Bilingual abilities, especially Spanish, to better serve diverse patient populations Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution At least 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience Recent clinical practice within the past 12 months Other Requirements: Availability to start on December 31, 2025 Willingness to travel as needed for coverage Compliance with all hospital and state license requirements Certified in or willing to obtain any additional hospital-specific training Take advantage of this rewarding opportunity in Austin, a city renowned for its vibrant culture, music scene, and outdoor activities.
