Doctor of Medicine | Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: Burbank, CA Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Burbank, CA Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Aug 03, 2026 – Ongoing Shift Schedule: 3-4 days per week, 9am – 4pm On-Call Shift Schedule: 3-4 days per week, 5pm – 7am (weekdays) or 24hr, 7am - 7am (weekends) 1 weekend/month Call Type: Beeper Call Ratio: 1:4 Call Response Time: 20-30 mins Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Agency PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 18-20 (OP), 2 IP Annual Deliveries: 214 FACILITY INFORMATION Physician in Practice: 2 Support Staff: RNs: 1, MAs: 5, PA/NPs: 1 Ultrasound onsite Trauma Level: III EMR System: Epic PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 90 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES Required: Low & High Risk Pregnancy FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE OB U/S Routine & Complicated Deliveries Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Office/minor & Surgical GYN JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC/BE within 5 years of residency Licenses: Licensed in CA DEA: CA DEA required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Experience: Providers must have case logs to be credentialed for hospital coverage Duties & Responsibilities Provide OBGYN coverage in both clinic and hospital settings. Perform routine and complicated deliveries. Manage clinic patient volume and surgical gynecology cases. Participate in call rotation for hospital coverage. Maintain accurate case logs for hospital credentialing.
