Required Skills MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Valid Virginia medical license or ability to obtain one Proven experience in obstetrics and gynecology, including emergent GYN procedures Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work independently and handle emergent OB/GYN cases efficiently Nice to Have Skills Experience working in hospitalist or inpatient OB settings Familiarity with Level 3B NICU and Level 3B neonatal care coordination Ability to collaborate with MFM specialists and anesthesia teams Bilingual skills or multilingual capabilities are a plus Preferred Education and Experience Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Minimum 2+ years of OB hospitalist experience preferred Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications Active and unrestricted Virginia medical license or eligibility to obtain Other Requirements Start date: February 1, 2026 Hourly pay rate of $214.50 Must be available to work shifts as scheduled, including emergent coverage Willingness to handle emergent gynecological cases only Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site in Christiansburg, VA Elevate your career by joining a supportive team committed to excellence in obstetric care.
