Required Skills: Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Valid state medical license for Texas. Proven experience managing obstetric and gynecological cases in a hospital setting. Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations with professionalism. Nice to Have Skills: Previous experience as a hospitalist or in a locum tenens role. BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree from an accredited institution. At least 3 years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology, with preference for those familiar with hospitalist roles. Other Requirements: Must hold or be able to obtain an active Texas medical license. Reliable means of transportation and ability to travel to Houston facilities as needed. Certification in obstetrics-related emergency procedures is advantageous.
