This is an ongoing assignment offering a flexible block schedule, a balanced mix of clinic and call, and the ability to work independently in a well-supported rural hospital setting. Opportunity Snapshot Contract Type: Locum Tenens Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing Schedule Model: Combination of Clinic + 24-hour Call Coverage Structure 24-hour call (7a–7a) Midwives take first call; physician covers second call Clinic coverage 2–3 days per week Clinic Hours: Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM Flexible Scheduling Options: Monday–Monday block scheduling (7a–7a) Split coverage options (weekday-only or weekend-only) Multiple providers will be utilized to support full coverage Current Priority Coverage Dates May 11 – May 15 May 25 – May 29 June 29 – July 2 (Ongoing coverage needs beyond these dates) Practice Environment Community hospital serving a rural population Independent practice model with strong nursing and midwife support Balanced clinic and delivery responsibilities EPIC EMR This is a low-volume, highly manageable OB program with strong support and predictable workflow. Clinical Scope Vaginal deliveries and C-sections No circumcisions required Average ~1 delivery per day Clinic volume: 20–25 patients per day Providers must be comfortable practicing independently in a rural setting.
