Contract Starts: ASAP - Pending Credentialing Patient Contract Hours: As Needed Shifts Per Month: As needed; Approximately 4 shifts/month on average Shift Length: 24-96 Hour Shift Scheduling Coverage Dates Needed: April 22 @ 7a - April 22 @ 7p April 23 @ 7a - April 24 @ 7a May 3 @ 7p - May 4 @ 7a May 5 @ 7a - May 9 @ 7a - only 3 days in a row approved May 13 @ 7a-5p May 17 @ 7p - May 21 @ 7a May 24 @ 7p - May 25 @ 7a June 4 @ 7a - June 5 @ 7a June 8 @ 7p - June 9 @ 7a June 10 @ 7a - June 11 @ 7a June 19 @ 7a - June 21 @ 7a Details: Inpatient Responsibilities: Yes Outreach: No Telehealth: No Number of Physicians: 1 full-time General OBGYN (clinic/surgery only) & 1 full-time, 1 part-time & 3 PRN OBGYN Hospitalists (hospital/on call only) Number of Advances Practice Providers: 5 - 2 ARNP, 2 PA, 1 midwife Supervision of APPs: Yes Nursing Support: 1:1- Additional support in hospital/Birth Center Ancillary Staff per Provider: Care Team Members: OBGYN Family Medicine Resident/Faculty EFM Certified Nurses and Providers 24/7 Pediatric Hospitalists NICU Nurses Pharmacists Labor/Delivery/Post-Partum RNs MA/LPN Certified Lactation Counselors (CLC) Medical Imaging: Yes Lab & Pharamcy: Yes Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: 500-600 births/year EMR: EPIC Teaching Opportunity: Teaching Hospital - Residency program and medical student rotations with DMU Services Offered: Annual Breast and Pelvic Exams, Abnormal Pap Smears and HPV Management, Routine Prenatal and Postnatal Care, In-office Procedures (see above), Contraception: Consultation and Options, Endometriosis Care, Infertility Treatment, Menopause Care and Hormone Replacement, Menstrual Irregularities, Pap Smears, Pelvic Prolapse Repairs, Permanent Sterilization, Ultrasound Imaging, and Urinary Incontinence Treatment. Job Responsibilities: Oversee L&D unit, triage patients, and perform vaginal or cesarean deliveries. Management of high and low-risk obstetric evaluations, emergencies and urgent gynecological consultations/surgeries. Provide education/mentoring for residents and staff. Assist OB/GYN peers in complex surgical cases if needed. Requirements Board Certified in OB/GYN Active IA License Residency Trained in OB/GYN Must be able to cover some of the dates listed Clean Malpractice/Background History
