Required Skills: MD or DO degree with valid medical license to practice in Missouri Proven experience in obstetrics and gynecology, including deliveries and emergency gyn care Ability to manage approximately 13+ patient encounters daily, including OB triage and unassigned gyn emergencies Proficiency with Meditech Expanse EMR system Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Nice to Have Skills: Experience covering hospital-employed CNMs and APCs Ability to handle high-acuity obstetric cases Prior experience in a hospitalist or coverage role Additional certifications such as NRP, BLS, and ACLS Preferred Education and Experience: Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with board certification in OB/GYN Minimum of 2+ years of hospital-based obstetric practice preferred Prior locum or temporary coverage experience is a plus Other Requirements: Must hold and maintain necessary state licensure and certifications Willingness to work on a flexible schedule including call and on-call duties Travel reimbursement and other applicable expenses covered as per policy This is a fantastic opportunity to impact women's health in a picturesque setting with competitive compensation of $195 per hour.
