Doctor of Medicine | Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: San Antonio, TX Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Join Our Team as a Locum Physician - OB Hospitalist in San Antonio, TX! Are you a skilled OB Hospitalist seeking flexible, rewarding shifts in a vibrant city? We are looking for dedicated physicians to provide high-quality obstetric care in San Antonio, TX, on a locum basis. What You’ll Do: As a Locum OB Hospitalist, you will be an integral part of a compassionate healthcare team, delivering exceptional obstetric care, managing labor and delivery, and ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns. Your expertise will help create positive outcomes in a supportive hospital environment. Required Skills: Active and unrestricted medical license in Texas or eligible for such license Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Proven experience in inpatient obstetric care and labor management Strong clinical decision-making and excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting Nice to Have Skills: Previous experience as a hospitalist or in a locum setting BLS, NRP, and any additional obstetric or neonatal certifications Familiarity with hospital electronic medical records (EMR) systems Bilingual abilities a plus Preferred Education and Experience: Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution At least 2 years of obstetric clinical experience preferred Prior experience working in a hospital environment recommended Other Requirements: Valid Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including overnight shifts if required Compliance with all hospital and state/federal healthcare standards and protocols Enjoy the flexibility and support our comprehensive benefits package offers, including competitive pay at $195/hour, weekly pay via direct deposit, medical benefits (W-2), referral bonuses, paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel reimbursements where applicable, and a dedicated team committed to your success.
