Required Skills: Valid medical license in Iowa or the ability to obtain one Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with OB experience Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist roles preferred Strong clinical skills with the ability to handle diverse OB cases Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions Nice to Have Skills: NE or midwest hospitalist experience Experience with Level 1 NICU care Familiarity with EMR systems (System TBD) Ability to perform OB triage, gyn emergencies, and deliveries efficiently Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Completion of residency in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with OB credentialing Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in OB hospitalist settings Other Requirements: Coverage required starting 12/31/2025 Participation in on-call and clinic coverage as needed Willingness to work in a primarily hospital-based role with call responsibilities Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Ready to make a difference in Waverly while advancing your professional journey?
