Doctor of Medicine | Pediatrics - General/Other Location: Clinton, NC Employer: Alumni Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 1 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Specialty State NC Location 607 Beaman Street, Clinton, NC 28328 Requirements June 1- 4 8P-8A Hospitalist adult, ped, and newborn nursery required We are seeking two options for coverage. Preferred is number 1) A physician hospitalist that is board certified in the family medicine and sees adults, pediatrics and newborn nursery patients with NRP certification or a Internal Medicine and Pediatrics board certified physician. Then we have option 2) A physician hospitalist that is board certified in pediatrics that sees pediatric and newborn nursery patients or board certified in family medicine and sees pediatric patients and newborn nursery with NRP certification. Specifications: 1. Active NC license 2. Board certified or eligible (if within 3 years of completing residency) 3. Boarded in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med/Peds 4. Census: 30-35 shared with another provider 5. Must respond to hospital codes 6. Procedures: a. Required: vent management, intubations, EKG interpretation b. Preferred: central line placement, arterial line placement, elective cardioversion, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis, suturing minor lacerations, I&D 7. Consulting cardiologist, nephrologist, and oncologist 8. EMR: Meditech Open ICU 1 DOCTOR on rounding and admissions during the night. The doctor will be housed in hospital-owned APTS.
