Doctor of Medicine | Pediatrics - General/Other Location: Clinton, NC Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Hospitalist - Pediatrics Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Hospitalist specializing in Pediatrics and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. Required Skills: Active North Carolina medical license Board certified or eligible (within 3 years of completing residency) Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med/Peds Experience responding to hospital codes Proficiency in vent management, intubations, and EKG interpretation Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Strong communication and critical thinking skills Nice to Have Skills: Experience with central line placement, arterial lines, cardioversion, lumbar punctures, paracentesis, thoracentesis, suturing minor lacerations, and I&D procedures Familiarity with Meditech EMR system Prior experience in an open ICU setting Ability to manage a shared census of 30-35 patients alongside another provider Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Prior hospitalist experience preferred but not required Recent graduates or those within 3 years of residency completion are encouraged to apply Other Requirements: Availability to work scheduled shifts from June 1–4, 8 PM to 8 AM Must respond promptly to hospital codes Willingness to participate in consulting with cardiologists, nephrologists, and oncologists Coverage of overnight rounding and admissions in a hospital-owned APTS setting Willingness to travel or receive reimbursement for licensure, certification, or other relevant expenses Embark on a rewarding career where your expertise directly improves patient outcomes.
