Doctor of Medicine | Physical Medicine Location: Panama City, FL Employer: Alumni Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 3 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Specialty HOSPITAL MEDICINE - 75981 - MDs (79400) State FL Location 449 West 23rd Street, Panama City, FL 32405 Requirements COVERAGE DATES :: 16 June - 6 July Physical Medicine amp Rehabilitation Diagnosis evaluation and management of persons of all ages with physical and/or cognitive impairments disabilities and functional limitations. Basic Education Requirements MD or DO Required Credentials Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Florida Current unrestricted DEA license with Florida address Current ACLS certification with maintenance of certification for the duration of granted moderate sedation privileges if applicable Minimal Formal Training Successful completion of an ACGME- or RCPSC-accredited and/or AOA-approved as applicable residency program in physical medicine and rehabilitation/internal medicine. 12 months of ACGME- or RCPSC-approved education in fundamental clinical skills is required by both the ACGME and RCPSC as part of training. And/Or Must be board certified or within seven years of completion of an approved residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation certification by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation or within six years of completion of training by the American Osteopathic Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physiatry. Required Current Experience Provide a quality profile from hospitals where he/she currently has privileges showing his or her clinical activity for the past 12 months including numbers of procedures performed morbidity mortality infection rates and other complications. Include clinical experiences performance documentation and interpretation of 200 complete electrodiagnostic evaluations from separate patient encounters. OR Proof from the hospitals where the applicant currently has privileges documentation of the applicant's hospital-based clinical. Has had 2 years of training or experience in the medical management of inpatients requiring rehabilitation services per CMS requirements. OR Successful completion of an ACGME- AOA- or RCPSC- accredited clinical fellowship/residency within the previous twelve 12 months. Include clinical experiences performance documentation and interpretation of 200 complete electrodiagnostic evaluations from separate patient encounters during training.
