Doctor of Medicine | Psychiatry - General/Other Location: Everett, WA Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Join Our Team as a Psychiatry - Addiction Psychiatry Specialist! Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals battling addiction? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Addiction Psychiatry professional to join our dedicated team. This vital role offers the opportunity to provide critical mental health and substance use disorder treatment in a dynamic environment, helping patients achieve lasting recovery and improved well-being. Required Skills: Board certification or eligibility in Addiction Psychiatry or relevant specialty Proven experience in addiction treatment and management Strong knowledge of substance use disorders, including detox protocols Proficiency in managing medication-assisted treatment (MAT) such as Suboxone, methadone, Sublocade, and Subutex Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams Compassionate communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care Nice to Have Skills: Experience working in outpatient or inpatient addiction settings Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems Additional certifications in addiction medicine or related fields Prior experience with diverse patient populations Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Fellowship training in addiction psychiatry or addiction medicine Minimum of 2 years’ post-fellowship clinical experience in addiction treatment Valid medical license and board certification in Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine Other Requirements: Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, with about two overnight beeper call shifts per week Knowledge of Librium and other detox medications Willingness to work in Everett and adapt to the needs of a diverse patient community Compliance with all applicable licensure, certification, and federal/state regulations Reliability and commitment to providing high-quality patient care Embark on a rewarding career where your expertise can change lives—apply now to be part of our leading healthcare team dedicated to excellence in addiction treatment!
