This is a great opportunity for surgeons looking for consistent call coverage with strong support and manageable patient volume . Schedule & Coverage Start Date: May 10, 2026 Contract: Ongoing Schedule: 3 weekends per month Shift: Friday 12 PM – Monday 7 AM Coverage: 24-hour on-call Practice Details Setting: Acute Care Hospital Support: APP support available EMR: Epic Patient Population: Adults (18+) Average Callback: 2–4 hours/day including rounding Cases: Urgent cardiac surgeries (no TAVRs) Workflow: Cath lab to OR; stable cases may wait until weekday ✅ Requirements Board Certified / Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery Active State License (or willingness to obtain) DEA required Minimum 1 year experience preferred ⏱ Credentialing Approx. 90 days (temps available for clean files) Why This Opportunity?
