What You’ll Need to Succeed: Active North Carolina Medical License and NC DEA registration (with NC address) Board Certification in Surgery Proven experience with Hernia repair, Cholecystectomy, Breast surgery, Abscess drainage, Endoscopy (EGD & colonoscopy), Appendectomy, and Small bowel/Colon surgeries Clean background; no recent or open malpractice or disciplinary cases (must include malpractice or disciplinary details with application) Valid NPI number and Medicare/Medicaid enrollment, PECOS registration Ability to be within 20 minutes of the hospital for on-call duties Strong communication skills via email Nice to Have Skills: Previous assignment experience through our agency Military service or approval to moonlight if applicable Experience with Meditech 6.1 EMR system Ability to provide 4 hours of gratis coverage daily (preferably in bulk hours) Preferred Education & Experience: Minimum of [X years] of surgical practice post-board certification Prior experience with hospital-based surgical call coverage Other Requirements: 24-hour call shifts scheduled from July 10 to July 27, 2026 Onsite hospital-owned apartments with cable and Wi-Fi provided Travel expenses capped at $500 Must include malpractice insurance in your daily rate Providers must secure necessary military or employer approvals if applicable This is an outstanding opportunity to join a dedicated team committed to patient care and professional excellence.
